Hollywood producer (Bones, Enchanted); extensive post-conviction Epstein emails
Barry Josephson, an executive producer of the TV series 'Bones' and former head of production at Columbia Pictures, corresponded with Jeffrey Epstein from approximately 2010 to 2018. According to emails released in the Epstein files in February 2026, Josephson engaged in inappropriate correspondence with Epstein, including a February 19, 2011 email in which Epstein asked him to recommend women in their early 20s for an assistant position, and Josephson responded with crude language describing a young woman he knew. The files show they 'hung out frequently' in Los Angeles and New York, with Epstein visiting Josephson's film sets twice. Josephson has stated he attended social events with Epstein but denies traveling on his plane, visiting his island, or seeing him with minors. He issued a statement expressing shame for his crude email language and stating there was 'no excuse' for what he said. His wife, singer Brooke Josephson, announced their divorce in February 2026 after learning of his relationship with Epstein. No criminal charges, arrests, convictions, or legal determinations have been made against Josephson.
