INTELLIGENCE SUMMARY
David Copperfield (David Seth Kotkin) was the subject of an FBI investigation beginning in 2007 after a woman alleged he raped her on his private Bahamian island. FBI memos noted a 'clear connection' between Copperfield and Jeffrey Epstein, with investigators seeking to establish whether the two 'engaged in referring possible victims to each other.' The investigation was closed in 2010 without charges. Additionally, Copperfield called Epstein 16 times between 2004-2005 and met with him at least three times; court documents show he met with Ghislaine Maxwell and attended dinners at Epstein's residence where he performed magic. An Epstein victim testified that Copperfield asked her if she 'was aware that girls were getting paid to find other girls.'
