Former USVI AG who sued JPMorgan over Epstein ties; fired after filing
Denise George, U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General, was removed from her post on January 1, 2023, by Governor Albert Bryan. George had been the driving force behind major litigation against the Jeffrey Epstein estate and JPMorgan Chase, including a lawsuit filed on December 27, 2022, alleging JPMorgan Chase knowingly facilitated Epstein's human trafficking network. The Virgin Islands estate suit was settled in December 2022 for $105 million plus half the sale price of Epstein's Little Saint James Island. While the governor's office stated that media reports linking her removal to the JPMorgan lawsuit were not "entirely" accurate, the timing and circumstances strongly suggest her aggressive pursuit of Epstein-related cases was a contributing factor to her termination.
Denise George, U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General, was fired by Governor Albert Bryan Jr. shortly after filing a lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase alleging it facilitated Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking.
