Dick Cavett was scheduled to attend a dinner with Jeffrey Epstein in February 2012, introduced through their mutual friend Woody Allen. Email records from Epstein's personal assistant show Cavett was invited to dine at Epstein's home alongside Allen, Soon-Yi Previn, and Bill Gates advisor Boris Nikolic. At the time of the scheduled dinner, Epstein was a registered sex offender following his 2007 guilty plea on prostitution solicitation charges. There is no evidence that Cavett had any involvement in Epstein's sexual abuse operations, was himself accused of misconduct, or faced any legal consequences related to Epstein. Cavett did not respond to requests for comment about whether he actually attended the dinner.
