Victim of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell
Elizabeth Stein is a confirmed survivor of sex trafficking by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. At age 21, while interning at a luxury department store, she was introduced to Maxwell, who led her to Epstein at the St. Regis Hotel, initiating a three-year period of abuse including rape by Maxwell, Epstein, and others they introduced. Stein only recognized the trafficking upon Epstein's 2019 arrest after decades of self-blame. She filed a civil lawsuit against Maxwell and Epstein's estate for sexual battery, assault, negligence, and emotional distress, which settled. Stein delivered a victim impact statement at Maxwell's sentencing, attended her trial anonymously, and advocates publicly as a human trafficking specialist with World Without Exploitation. She has spoken on PBS NewsHour, been a guest at the 2026 State of the Union, led Capitol Hill rallies for Epstein files release, and demands accountability for enablers and buyers.
Elizabeth Stein was trafficked and raped by Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and unnamed individuals they introduced her to, realizing she was a victim only after Epstein's 2019 arrest.
