Coinbase co-founder who discussed meeting Epstein during 2014 investment
Fred Ehrsam, co-founder of Coinbase, was aware of and involved in communications regarding Jeffrey Epstein's $3 million investment in Coinbase in December 2014. According to DOJ-released emails, Ehrsam discussed and potentially met with Epstein to arrange this investment, which occurred years after Epstein's 2008 conviction. There is no evidence that Ehrsam was arrested, charged, convicted, or otherwise criminally implicated in the Epstein case. His involvement appears limited to his professional role at Coinbase during the company's early funding rounds.
