Hans Ulrich Obrist, the Swiss art curator and co-director of the Serpentine Galleries in London, is named in the released Epstein files solely in the context of a social event. On November 19, 2014, John Brockman — a literary agent and known Epstein associate — sent an email inviting Epstein to an event in Palo Alto, California that included Obrist and artist Taryn Simon. The email noted that Obrist had attempted to invite architect Rem Koolhaas, who was unavailable due to a meeting in Moscow. There is no evidence of direct correspondence between Obrist and Epstein, no indication of any ongoing relationship with Epstein, and no suggestion of criminal activity or wrongdoing on Obrist's part. Obrist's appearance in the files is limited to a third-party reference in a single email by Brockman. No investigations, charges, lawsuits, or other legal proceedings involving Obrist in connection with Epstein have been identified.
NO DOCUMENT EVIDENCE ON FILE.
