Ray Ormond, Bureau of Prisons Northeast Regional Director, issued high-level monitoring orders for Jeffrey Epstein while Epstein was detained at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York in July 2019. On July 24, 2019, Ormond sent an email to MCC Associate Warden Shirley Skipper-Scott requesting daily updates on Epstein's status and activities.
