Harvard physicist who attended science conference on Epstein island
Lisa Randall, a tenured physics professor at Harvard University since 2001, maintained years of contact with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein spanning nearly a decade. According to Department of Justice documents released in January 2026, Randall exchanged emails and phone calls with Epstein and flew on his private jet in November 2014 to his Caribbean island. She attended an Epstein-sponsored gravity conference in St. Thomas in 2006 and met with Epstein in person on multiple occasions at Harvard between 2010 and 2013. Their contact continued for several years after Epstein's 2008 conviction for child prostitution. In a statement to The Harvard Crimson, Randall expressed that she was "appalled by the full extent of allegations against him and deeply regret[s] maintaining contact." She is currently included in Harvard University's expanded investigation into affiliates' connections to Epstein.
