Apollo CEO who exchanged emails and financial documents with Epstein
Marc Rowan, CEO of Apollo Global Management, maintained documented contact with Jeffrey Epstein between 2013 and 2016, including multiple meetings at Epstein's New York home and discussions about purchasing Rowan's private aircraft. However, Rowan has not been accused of involvement in Epstein's crimes. Apollo Global Management issued a statement asserting that neither Rowan nor anyone else at Apollo (excluding Leon Black) had a business or personal relationship with Epstein, characterizing any interactions as incidental to Epstein's tax work for co-founder Leon Black. The released Epstein files show Rowan sought meetings with Epstein and engaged in what appeared to be investment discussions, but no evidence of participation in illegal activity has emerged.
Marc Rowan denied any business or personal relationship with Jeffrey Epstein beyond providing limited tax-related information connected to Leon Black's work, as confirmed by an independent investigation and Apollo spokespeople.
