NYC publicist who helped Epstein reenter society post-conviction
Peggy Siegal, a prominent Hollywood publicist, is extensively documented in the Epstein files as a key fixer and social intermediary who facilitated Epstein's access to high-society entertainment circles and actively participated in his reputation management. Released documents reveal she coordinated high-profile dinners (including one with Prince Andrew, Charlie Rose, and Woody Allen), helped Epstein monitor press coverage, schemed to 'neutralize' journalists critical of him (specifically Tina Brown), leveraged Epstein's connections to Prince Andrew for a Harvey Weinstein Oscar campaign, and alerted Epstein and Steve Bannon to a Netflix documentary about him. In exchange, Epstein provided her with financial advice and rides on his private jet. Following public revelations of her involvement, Netflix fired her from an Emmy campaign, Annapurna Pictures removed her from a film premiere, and FX Network discontinued using her for promotional duties. She laid off eight employees and reported landing only one paying job thereafter. She later compared the negative press coverage to the Holocaust, subsequently apologizing. No criminal charges, arrests, lawsuits, or formal investigations against Siegal have been identified in any available sources.
