Marvin Minsky, the MIT artificial intelligence pioneer, died on January 24, 2016, at age 88 from a cerebral hemorrhage — years before court documents naming him were publicly unsealed. Virginia Giuffre alleged in a 2016 sworn deposition in the Giuffre v.
