Natalya Malyshev is an individual linked to Jeffrey Epstein who was named as a civil defendant in the lawsuit Jane Doe 43 v. Epstein et al. (Case No. 1:17-cv-00616, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York), filed on January 26, 2017, by survivor Sarah Ransome (proceeding as Jane Doe 43). Malyshev is accused of acting as a recruiter for Epstein, specifically recruiting young women for him to sexually abuse in the early 2000s. Ransome alleged that Malyshev recruited her in 2006 by presenting Epstein as a wealthy philanthropist who helped financially struggling women. Documentary evidence cited in the lawsuit includes at least 20 emails Malyshev allegedly sent to Epstein containing the first names, ages, and photos of women, with at least one proposing a 19-year-old who could be rewarded for recruiting classmates. She also appeared on at least three of Epstein's flight manifests in 2006 to 2007. The Miami Herald described her as a former victim who became a recruiter. Malyshev never responded to the civil lawsuit and never made any appearance in the matter. The plaintiff was unable to locate or serve her. Claims against Malyshev were voluntarily dismissed by Ransome without prejudice prior to the broader dismissal of the case in December 2018. No criminal charges, arrests, or convictions related to Malyshev have been found in any available sources. As of 2026, she remains a named person of interest in relation to the Epstein case with no known formal legal accountability beyond being a named civil defendant in dismissed litigation.
Jane Doe 43 filed civil lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, Sarah Kellen, Lesley Groff, and Natalya Malyshev in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (Case No. 1:17-cv-00616). Malyshev was named as a defendant for her role as a recruiter in Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise.
