Executive Chairman of Hyatt Hotels Corporation
Thomas Pritzker, executive chairman of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, resigned from his position on February 16, 2026, following the public release of Jeffrey Epstein documents revealing his long-standing association with the convicted sex offender. The documents showed Pritzker maintained regular contact with Epstein for years after Epstein's 2008 plea deal on sex crimes charges, including at least 20 back-and-forth emails exchanged between 2010 and February 2019. Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's prominent accusers, alleged in a 2016 deposition that she was sexually abused by Pritzker on at least one occasion. Pritzker has vehemently denied the allegation, and no criminal charges have been brought against him. His resignation represents a direct consequence of these revelations becoming public.
